University View II
This project represents the second phase of a four-phase mixed-use student housing complex situated at the edge of the University of Maryland’s College Park campus. The 12-story building consists of 517 beds in 154 units, totaling 232,000 square feet. Designed to create a student village accessible to UMD students, the project also incorporates 11,000-sf of retail space on the ground floor.
The building’s design incorporates traditional references and materials to enhance the continuity with the University’s architectural vernacular. Elements such as glassy bays provide a more contemporary interior to attract local students.
